The Travis Foundation is seeking an Auction Chair & an Assistant Auction Chair to work together and lead the charge in coordinating the live and silent auctions for our annual Gala & Auction—our most significant fundraising event of the year.

Do you have a knack for party planning, an eye for detail, and a talent for event logistics? We need an Event Chair & Assistant Event Chair to take the lead in planning and executing our biggest fundraising event of the year—the Gala & Auction!

What You'll Do:

Engage with Donors – Cultivate relationships with new and existing donors to procure exciting auction items.

Coordinate Auctions – Oversee all aspects of the live and silent auctions, ensuring a seamless and successful experience.

Recruit & Lead a Committee – Build a team of volunteers to assist with donor outreach, item organization, and auction logistics to help lighten the load.

Collaborate with a Supportive Team – Work alongside experienced team members who have established systems to guide you every step of the way.


Event Chair

Assistant Event Chair

  • Plan & Coordinate the Event – Secure the venue, book entertainment, coordinate food and beverage, and bring the event vision to life with stunning décor and thoughtful details.

  • Manage Vendor Contracts – Work with venues, entertainers, caterers, and décor vendors to get the best services at the best prices.

  • Secure Timelines & Logistics – Ensure every detail—from setup to guest flow—is planned and executed smoothly for a seamless event experience.

  • Recruit & Lead a Committee – Build a team of volunteers to assist with planning, logistics, and on-the-day event execution to help lighten the load.

  • Collaborate with a Supportive Team – Work alongside experienced team members who have established systems to guide you every step of the way.


Fundraising & Sponsorship Chair

Are you a people person with a talent for building relationships and securing support for a great cause? We are looking for a Fundraising & Sponsorship Chair to connect with businesses, community leaders, and donors to secure event sponsors, underwriters, and additional fundraising opportunities to help our school thrive.

What You'll Do:

  • Cultivate Sponsorships & Partnerships – Connect with local businesses, corporations, and community members to secure sponsorships and underwriters for our annual Gala & Auction and other key initiatives.

  • Lead Fundraising Efforts – Help identify creative fundraising opportunities and strategies to maximize support for the foundation.

  • Research & Write Grants (Bonus, but not required) – If you have experience in grant writing or finance, help explore additional funding sources to expand our impact.

  • Recruit & Lead a Committee – Build a team of volunteers to assist with outreach, donor stewardship, and fundraising initiatives to help lighten the load.

  • Collaborate with a Supportive Team – Work alongside experienced team members who have established systems to guide you every step of the way.


Secretary

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and great at keeping things on track? The Travis Foundation is looking for a Board Secretary to help ensure our meetings, motions, and grants stay well-documented and on schedule. This role is essential in keeping our small but mighty board running smoothly!

What You'll Do:

  • Take Meeting Minutes & Keep Records – Attend all board meetings, take detailed minutes, and publish them monthly for transparency and accountability.

  • Track Motions & Grants – Ensure all board decisions, grant approvals, and action items are properly recorded and followed through.

  • Assist with Projects & Initiatives – Support board members as needed with special projects and organizational tasks.

  • Play an Active Role in the Board & Community – Stay engaged in foundation activities, ensuring smooth communication and helping where needed.
